Goffs Oak Football Club game in the Premier Division of the Hertsfordshire Senior County League against Mills End Sports was designated an event for ‘teens unite’ fighting cancer and the proceeds of the game and tin collection donated to the charity.
I attended on behalf of the charity and enjoyed a really competitive game of football. Goffs Oak ran out comfortable winners and the charity benefitted through profile and money.
Well done to all those who took part and put in their time and effort to organise the event and support the charity.

The Tye Green Bowling Club at Harlow had a gala day in support of ‘teens unite’ and raised £782. A fantastic effort by some fantastic people.

Goffs Oak Village Hall. The National Association of Women’s Clubs Charity Quiz in aid of ‘teens unite’ fighting cancer, 8pm – 10pm. Fantastic sum raised in the region of £750, with over a hundred attending the Quiz and Fish and Chip supper.

A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, Monday 5th December 2011, 7pm prompt start at Christ Church, Waltham Cross, High Street, Waltham Cross, EN8 7ED. Programme Donation of £2 in aid of ‘teens unite – fighting cancer’ and Christ Church.
All are welcome back to the Halsey Masonic Hall, Turners, Hill, Cheshunt for coffee and mince pies.

Broxbourne Borough Council Open Day, Churchgate, Cheshunt starting at 12 noon, come along and see the ‘Capel Players’ singing their hearts out for teens unite. The Capel Players have chosen the charity as their charity of the year. Please come along for some great music.

Fun run in Broxbourne in aid of teens unite. Please meet in Station Road, Broxbourne, at the recreaction ground by the club house at 9.30am – 10am for all the fun and activity to begin.
9 July 2010 - Mayor’s cricket match against Hoddesdon Cricket Club, a 20/20 match at the Lowefield Ground, Hoddesdon. The start will be at 6pm.
A raffle will take place in aid of the Mayor’s Charity – ‘teens unite’ fighting cancer.
4 August 2010 - Mayor’s select Garden Party at the Headquarters of ‘teens unite’.
This select event will be from 6pm – 8pm in the grounds of Bratten House, Church Lane, Wormley. Tickets have been reasonably priced at £6.
It will be a wine and cheese with nibbles and music in the lovely grounds of Bratten House. Karen Millen OBE will be attending and a chance to meet her and the team from ‘teens unite’.

24 August 2010 - Tea and coffee morning at locations across the borough. All proceeds to the Mayor’s Charity.
9 September 2010 – Charity Bike Ride, the bike ride will commence at 10am from the borough offices to the Limehouse basin and return.

18 September 2010 - East Herts. Scout Annual Fete at Deaconsfield, Broxbourne High Road, 1pm
The Mayor will have a stall in order to promote his charity. A number of people have agreed to help out, if you can lend a short hand to help please contact me
18 September 2010 – Goffs Oak Community Association – Race Night, 7.30pm – 11.30pm, in aid of the Mayor’s Charity, at the Village Hall in Goffs Oak. Tickets are £6 and includes a fish and chip supper. These can be obtained from Ann Smith on 01707 873191. Please bring your own drinks
20 September 2010 – Abseiling down Grove House by Broxbourne Housing Association, Contractors Avalon and also Enterprise along with residents and others. All the fun of the drop. Location, Grove House, College Road, Cheshunt, 4pm – 6pm.

For young people in school years 7, 8 and 9. Guest DJs playing the best House, Garage, R&B and chart topping music. Wolsey Hall, Cheshunt, Friday, 7.30 – 10.30pm, 26 November.
Novembers X-Plosion there will be a raffle in aid of Teens Unite. The Mayor of Broxbourne will be at the event along with members of Teens Unite
Wednesday 15 December 2010, Zumba Dancing at Wolsey Hall. The mayor will be taking part in a session in a Special Charity Night in aid of teens unite.

Saturday 26 February 2011 - Gala Night with Karen Millen OBE at the Civic Hall.
Evening of Fashion presented by Karen Millen OBE, in aid of the Mayor of Broxbourne’s Charity, ‘teens unite’ fighting cancer.
The event is at the Broxbourne Civic Hall, Hoddesdon on Saturday 26th February 2011, at 6.30pm. The evening commences at 7pm with a full stage entertainment followed by a two course meal, Tea and Coffee with petit fours and fashion show choreographed by Kevin Adams (GMTV and Fame Academy).
Mingle with the stars, Karen Millen OBE, actress and soap star Gillian Taylforth and Kevin Adams.

Friday 01 April 2011 – Mayor’s Afternoon Charity Gala , in aid of the Mayor’s Charity, ‘teens unite’ fighting cancer. An afternoon Gala featuring Amanda Morris and the The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir.
The event, Friday 1st April 2011, at Wolsey Hall, Cheshunt, from 2pm until 5pm. Tickets will go on sale via the box office at the Civic Hall, telephone 01992 441946, in the early part of January 2011, priced at £6. Book early.
Amanda Morris will commence the show followed by The Three Valleys Male Voice Choir. There will be an interval at approximately 3.30pm, between 20-25 mins.
